1000 IDEAS FOR CREATIVE REUSE: REMAKE, RESTYLE, RECYCLE, RENEW

1000 Ideas for Creative Reuse: Remake, Restyle, Recycle, Renew

HANGER 3 has been published in its’ first book. The book 1000 Ideas for Creative Reuse by Garth Johnson, showcases some great examples of how to reuse those old items that are just too unique to throw out. Published by Quarry Books, which is the craftier side of Rockport Publishing, 1000 Ideas for Creative Reuse features 1000 individual re-purposed items. Ranging from jewelry, to housewares, to furniture, to clothing, and other miscellaneous items.

Out of those 1000 items, HANGER 3 has four items featured. Three necklaces (Washington DC Leather #0328, Colorado Springs Chain #0329, Indianapolis Leather #0332) and the Wine Glass Markers #0678. You can find these items on pages 109 and 209.

You can order 1000 Ideas for Creative Reuse: Remake, Restyle, Recycle, Renew (1000 Series)
at Amazon for $16.50. The book retails for $25.00.

Hanger3.com update

A lot of things have been going on. I haven’t had a whole lot of time to update the journal. But here’s a little bit of what’s been going on.

Hanger3.com has been featured in HOW Design Magazine. Check it out. Its the blue cover, International Design Issue.

I have a new full time job. I have taken a position as an Interactive Designer at the corporate headquarters at one of the largest brick and mortar book stores. Here’s a hint: Mexico and Canada are B _ _ _ _ _ s of the US.

And automated emails now work properly. When you sign up, place an order, forget your password, Hanger3.com will now send you an email to notify you. This was a huge issue that I have been working on trying to figure out for almost a year now. And now its fixed. So no more worrying about if your order was shipped or not.

Im sure there’s more to talk about, but I need to get back to work.

In Case of Fire Use Stairs

In Case of Fire
So its safer on the roof?

This sign is in the apartment building that I live it. I thought it was funny. Why would they show that you need to run up the stairs if there’s a fire?

Set your DVR’s

I just got word from Real Simple, that Hanger3.com will be in a special gift guide segment on the CBS Early Morning Show. They will be on the September 14th show. Big news indeed. I think I owe it to Real Simple to subscribe to their magazine for everything they have done for me in getting Hanger3.com off the ground.

As soon as the episode airs, I will post a link to the segment, just in case you missed it.
